"We went there with no reservation on a Saturday night, not realizing how intimate (small) the restaurant was. But they were able to seat us, even though they were quite full. The food was wonderful and plentiful, and the chef was willing to substitute chicken for veal in the "Denise" special. I love that the menu has only the specials, then they casually mention they have the standards - parmigiana, marsala, francese, spaghetti and meatballs, etc. also. Nice wine list. The staff was friendly and efficient. But the menu itself put this place over the top! It lights up! And the font is readable without reading glasses! My only drawback for Benny's is that they serve cold hard butter (a pet peeve of mine) in the little plastic packages. We will definitely be back!"

"We had the Italian wedding soup, garlic bread, chicken carbonara (special request), and seafood lasagna. Everything tasted scratch-made and delicious! Cool folios for the menus and bill."
